Job Summary/Basic Functions

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Instructor

We are seeking a qualified and experienced EMS Instructor to join our team and contribute to the professional development of emergency medical service personnel.
Qualifications:

Current Kentucky Board of EMS Instructor Endorsement at Level 2 or Level 3
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the specific course level being assigned
Demonstrated expertise in emergency medical services and educational instruction

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive EMS training programs
Provide high-quality instruction in emergency medical service courses
Assess and evaluate student performance and competency
Maintain current knowledge of EMS protocols, techniques, and best practices
Ensure compliance with Kentucky Board of EMS educational standards
Prepare educational materials and course documentation
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students

Requirements:

Valid Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor Endorsement from the Kentucky Board of EMS
Minimum of 2 years of instructional experience in the assigned course level
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and effective learning environments
Commitment to professional development and ongoing education

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Kentucky Board of EMS Instructor Endorsement at Level 2 or Level 3
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the specific course level being assigned
  • Demonstrated expertise in emergency medical services and educational instruction
  • Kentucky Board of EMS endorsed EMT or Paramedic instructor
