Job Summary/Basic Functions
This position plans and directs assessment, and accountability programs as defined by Model Lab School’s strategic plan; oversees and monitors curriculum, processes and procedures, guidelines and compliance issues; provides instructional leadership and support in analyzing academic performance data as well as progress reports; provide teacher support; oversees the professional development and mentoring programs for professional staff; develops strategic short and long term planning to meet objectives; ensures the school educational objectives are aligned to the state framework and to instructional practices that yield the high standards of student achievement, instructional excellence and enables Model Lab School to continually improve its effectiveness and efficiency in meeting the educational needs of all students.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Doctorate with Superintendent certification
Experience: • Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in school or district leadership with standards development, program evaluation, assessments or closely related field in a school system; Three (3) years successful teaching experience at the K-12 level.
Licensure & Certifications: • Possess or be eligible for Kentucky certification for Superintendent of Schools
