Job Summary/Basic Functions
Seeking EKU Summer Institutional Work Study Camp Counselors for the Summer 2025 EKU CSTEM Science and Math Camp, June 22-27, 2025.
The 5-day residential camp, June 22-27, 2025, provides rising high school junior and senior campers with a preview of life as a college student. They participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematical (STEM) activities, meet with a variety of University representatives, and take part in fun team-building projects.
Camp Counselors will report to the Camp Assistant Director. Responsibilities include: supervision of assigned high school level campers and assisting with all evening activities. Must be available to live on-campus with campers during the camp week of Jun 22-27th.
Must be eligible for Summer session Institutional Work Study and be a current EKU student. Must be 18 years of age or older and complete a background check for working with minors. Prefer candidates who have experience working with high school students. Shifts will vary, depending on INWKS qualifications and shift availability. Position pays a $350 stipend.
