Job Summary/Basic Functions

The College of Business invites applications for part-time instructors for the Fall 2025 semester to teach face-to-face introductory business classes. These courses include BUS 101, Nature of Business, which introduces the functions of business, with applications of critical thinking and problem solving in business; and BUS 206, Fundamentals of Problem Solving with Excel, which develops skills in Excel as critical thinking and problem-solving skills are further developed.

To be considered to teach undergraduate level courses, applicants should hold an earned master's degree or higher from an AACSB-accredited school. Experience teaching an undergraduate business course is desired.

Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs.

Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Earned masters degree or higher from an AACSB-accredited school at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching an undergraduate business course is desired.

Job Duties:

  • Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students. - (Essential)
