Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCT&L) at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) seeks an undergraduate student worker to support the Kentucky Graduate Profile communication strategy. This role provides hands-on learning opportunities while assisting with the production of educational videos that promote the 10 Essential Skills identified by the Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE). This position will provide students with gaining experience in multimedia production while supporting the Graduate Profile team in communicating the transformative impact of teaching and learning and these essential skills at EKU.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at EKU.

Interest in learning video production and multimedia content creation.

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some experience with social media content creation or basic video editing.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Duties:

  • 25% - Assist the Graduate Profile team with basic video production tasks and scheduling. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Support video recording sessions by helping with equipment setup and logistics. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Assist with basic video editing tasks under supervision. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Learn and apply multimedia production techniques while contributing to project goals. - (Essential)
