Why this role is important

An EKU Student Information Technology Associate provides in-depth first-level technology support for EKU faculty, staff, and students. The Student IT Associate is also responsible for providing general support for desktop equipment and classroom technical issues. The incumbent regularly deals with a range of inquiries and requests for service/ information utilizing phone, chat, tickets, and in person customer service skills. The incumbent assists IT Consultants with tasks as assigned.



Once here, you will focus on…


• Assisting visitors with available resources (computer labs, printers, A/V equipment, etc.) while maintain a clean, high-functioning space and equipment.
• Checking out equipment and spaces to EKU student with precision on paperwork and our ticketing system.
• Monitoring, maintaining, and addressing issues with residence hall computer labs across campus (PCs and printers), including paper and toner deliveries..
• Providing technical support for student-owned devices, including diagnostic, virus removal, and troubleshooting OS and wireless connectivity.

  • Must be enrolled at EKU.
