Job Summary/Basic Functions

Student will gain valuable pedagogical and leadership experience working as a writing and communication consultant in the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity. The graduate assistant will be responsible for providing academic support to other EKU students; leading Noel Studio/in-class workshops on writing and research; and/or training undergraduate consultants. Graduate assistants are offered a variety of opportunities to develop additional skills in writing, communication, leadership, research, professional development, workshop/class instruction, and administrative roles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an EKU Graduate Program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 65% - Academic Support - Student Consultations - (Essential)
  • 15% - Academic Support - Noel Studio and Classroom Workshops - (Essential)
  • 15% - PD - Consultant Trainings - (Essential)
  • 5% - Administrative Duties - (Marginal)
