Job Duties

Directly responsible for the daily operations of the Payroll function. Supervise, train, and assign staff in a complex financial organization in the areas of payroll, leave, and benefit accounting. Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of payroll checks, W-2’s, and applicable payroll related reports. Make certain operations are conducted in accordance with Federal, State, and Hospital policies & procedures and support ESH’s vision, mission, and values.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in accounting and/or equivalent payroll is required.
Experience in payroll management, supervision, confidentiality, discretion, automated payroll and leave accounting systems, and PC operations using spreadsheets and word processing is required.

Additional Considerations

• College degree including major course work in accounting is preferred.
• Experience in supervision is preferred.
