This position directly supervises and provides oversight management for Financial Aid, Testing, and the Senior Director of Student Success. A primary objective of this position is to ensure that all student populations are served well through utilizing best practices by working with all areas of the college collaboratively to identify and address and mitigate for barriers in the areas of enrollment, retention, persistence, completion, and transfer. This position will also support the Vice President in developing and executing well-planned strategies and tactics to reach the institutional enrollment goals and with overall management of the Division while working closely with other areas, including regional campuses to ascertain service gaps in the student life cycle, and to eliminate those challenges.

This position provides strategic leadership, program development, and operational oversight for key departments supporting student engagement, persistence, and completion. This role is responsible for advancing a coordinated student success agenda with a particular focus on adult learners and veteran affairs, career readiness, academic advising, and support for first-generation students. This position also leads the coordination of new student orientation, as well as high-impact engagement and retention aligned with institutional goals. This position plays a central role in translating broad student success strategy into actionable programs and services, ensuring an integrated and data-informed approach across multiple functional areas.

The instructor shall develop and maintain a complete progressive course of study, lesson plans, assignments, and instructional aides to meet educational requirements and industry standards. They shall also oversee student conduct, motivation, safety, discipline, and appearance, addressing issues as they arise. The instructor shall build and cultivate partnering relationships with schools, business, and industry partners to promote the ideals of occupational education and implement an effective placement program for students.
