The AACC Certified Police Officer is tasked to protect life and property at Anne Arundel Community College. Police Officers provide a professional presence to present a sense of safety and security for the students, employees, and visitors. Police Officers conduct diligent vehicle and foot patrols of the campus parking lots, streets, sports fields, campus buildings, classrooms, labs, offices, and areas of congregation. Police Officers conduct criminal and traffic investigations, write reports, interview and interrogate suspects, make full custody arrests, and transport arrestees. Police Officers collect and preserve evidence, conduct field sobriety tests, testify in court, maintain building security, and enforce Criminal Law, Civil Law, Maryland Traffic Law, Education Article, College Policies and the Student Code of Conduct. Police Officers must maintain updated and thorough knowledge of the laws and college policies. |

The Systems and Resource Management Librarian is responsible for managing and providing support for all aspects of library systems, software and technology, including the integrated library system (ILS), and for overseeing the library’s resource management office. Primary duties include configuration, maintenance, enhancement, training and troubleshooting of the library’s SirsiDynix Symphony ILS and its public web interface, managing and supporting all other library-specific systems and web-based services, and coordinating cataloging and systems work. The SASP Student Success and Retention Advisor provides direct academic, career, personal guidance, and advocacy to support academic success, transfer, and graduation of program participants. The Paramedic Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to paramedic students, preparing them for state and national certification exams and field practice. The instructor develops, implements and grades within the paramedic curriculum, conducts classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs, and mentors during clinical rotations. This role requires collaboration with full-time instructors, Director of EMS, medical directors, clinical sites, and EMS agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive and current paramedic education. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own certifications and continuing education to stay updated with advancements in emergency medical services. |

The instructor will follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). Familiarity with the Canvas Learning Management System is a plus.
