Reference Technician I/II - Public Services Technician Arnold/Main Campus
The Reference Technician I/II - Public Services Technician is charged with providing high-quality customer service to library patrons at library service desks and online. They primarily provide reference and research services at the reference desk and via online chat. They also provide circulation support at the circulation desk. They occasionally conduct research in support of reference requests, collection development needs, and exhibit creation.
Document Services Assistant I/II, Postal Services Arnold/Main Campus
The Document Services Assistant is responsible for processing, sorting, and hand-delivering incoming and outgoing interdepartmental mail, US mail, and Document Services print work and deliveries to campus offices in a timely, cost-effective manner. The assistant also provides periodic backup to other department functions, including general bindery and copy center work and support for shipping and receiving.
Program Manager for Cross-Cultural Student Services Arnold/Main Campus
The Program Manager of SASP has direct responsibility for developing, implementing, evaluating, coordinating, and monitoring the budget and expenditures for the Black Male Institute (BMI), collaboration/transition programs with Anne Arundel County Public School (AACPS), including Hispanic Youth Mini-Symposium, new outreach initiatives, and developing programs for diverse student populations.
Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education Arnold/Main Campus
In cooperation with the Program Director of the CACHE PTA Program and the Dean of Health Sciences, the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and administrating the clinical education experience which relates the student clinical education program to the curriculum and evaluates students' progress in integrating the academic and clinical experiences. In addition, the ACCE is responsible for serving as a liaison between the consortium colleges and the clinical facilities to ensure that the program incorporates instruction in sound patient management, professional demeanor, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, and that college and clinical personnel demonstrate a personal receptiveness to the students. The ACCE also provides some program instruction.
Part time Faculty Surgical Technology Program (SGT) Arnold/Main Campus
The surgical technology program is looking for instructors who are enthusiastic and engaging with students and who are willing to be part of a team with other full time and part time faculty. We currently need clinical instructors who are responsible for observing and evaluating students in the hospital setting and helping to maintain positive relationships with clinical site personnel. Hours are arranged based on instructor availability and clinical site schedules. The position could lead to teaching in the classroom and lab as openings occur. The surgical technology program is CAAHEP accredited.
College Police Officer Arnold/Main Campus
The AACC Certified Police Officer is tasked to protect life and property at Anne Arundel Community College. Police Officers provide a professional presence to present a sense of safety and security for the students, employees, and visitors. Police Officers conduct diligent vehicle and foot patrols of the campus parking lots, streets, sports fields, campus buildings, classrooms, labs, offices, and areas of congregation. Police Officers conduct criminal and traffic investigations, write reports, interview and interrogate suspects, make full custody arrests, and transport arrestees. Police Officers collect and preserve evidence, conduct field sobriety tests, testify in court, maintain building security, and enforce Criminal Law, Civil Law, Maryland Traffic Law, Education Article, College Policies and the Student Code of Conduct. Police Officers must maintain updated and thorough knowledge of the laws and college policies.

Budget Analyst Arnold/Main Campus
The Budget Analyst is responsible for general ledger access maintenance, financial reporting and analysis, and providing assistance to the Budget and Resource Planning Director on institutional budget management, ad hoc projects and other special analysis. This position supports the college mission by maintaining the general ledger accounts, creating and providing reports to the college community, recommending improved practices and procedures for efficient and effective allocation of resources to achieve initiative outcomes and providing financial analyses to support decision making. This position requires in-person presence on campus Mon-Thurs, however there is an option to work remote but in person required at times.
Instructor/Assistant Professor, Nursing Arnold/Main Campus
A strong nurse candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to teach introductory and upper college-level nursing students who are part of a diverse student population. Bi-lingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply. Experience in nursing guidelines for quality assurance, regulations, proficiency testing, is required. Additionally, nursing skills, and the ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment as well as excellence in oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are expected and bi-lingual candidates are preferred. The position will require in-state travel to affiliate clinical sites. Candidates should be committed to student-centered, outcomes-based education with experience incorporating multiple instructional strategies and the use of technology in teaching and learning. Teaching assignments are 15 faculty load hours per semester. Courses to be instructed include lecture (including online), lab, and activity classes in the Nursing program. Full-time faculty are expected to participate on committees in the department, school of health sciences, and the college. Additionally, candidates should be proven team-players with an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.

Instructional Specialist- Contract with Benefits Arnold/Main Campus
The Instructional Specialist will provide expertise and knowledge on various pedagogical approaches and best practices to support the online and hybrid course delivery in the Nursing program. The Instructional Specialist will collaborate with the Assistant Dean Nursing (ADNur) and department faculty to design innovative efforts in the development and delivery of high-quality online virtual experiences, and ensure that appropriate and equity-based curriculum content and clinical teaching, retention, and completion benchmarks are met in accordance with program learning outcomes and accreditation standards The Instructional Specialist may also be asked to collaborate with nursing faculty on ideas and content to drive the development of interactive activities/games, simulations, and self-assessments that support the learning objectives. The Instructional Specialist will collaborate with the Instructional Design, Engagement and Accessibility Lab (IDEA Lab) to ensure that course designs and online activities are delivered according to the Division of Learning standards.
