Director, Analytics and Data Integrity

The Director of Analytics and Data Integrity will implement and manage operations related to data engineering and visualization to inform decision-makers of student success, institutional operations, goals, and outcomes. Chairing the Data Integrity Group (DIG) and Instructional Coordinator (IC) Data Group, the Director works with stakeholders to create and maintain operational definitions and guidelines for institutional data use across the College to ensure data integrity and improve data quality and stewardship. |
Dental Hygiene Academic Coordinator

In collaboration with the DHY program director, the academic coordinator oversees didactic instruction in the Dental Hygiene (DHY) program at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), to include but not limited to quality assurance of instruction, instructional over-site of dental hygiene part-time faculty, reviewing and updating program manuals, ensuring course content is up to date for instruction, assisting the DHY clinical coordinator in supervising students in the dental clinic, and monitoring student retention and completion. The academic coordinator actively engages with students and participants in events and orientations, assists in the coordination of program surveys, program and course level assessment, and program analysis and technology integration. The academic coordinator communicates concerns about part-time faculty and/or student progress to the DHY program director. Additional duties include but not limited to, instruction in a variety of formats including classroom, lab, the AACC Dental Clinic, special topics courses, on-line instruction and coordinating and providing tutoring. The academic coordinator also assures compliance with college, program, CDC, OSHA standards, ADA guidelines, and accrediting agency standards. This is a staff position that requires an in-person presence. The academic coordinator teaches 30 - 36 FLH in the DHY curriculum per academic year, including the summer term and for reporting purposes to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) will be identified as faculty |

The Campus Information Assistant is a part-time, 20-hour or less, in-person position that supports the Information Center located in the Student Services Center. This role is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by providing general assistance with enrollment and registration processes, guiding students on the use of MyAACC, and offering accurate directions to campus locations.The Campus Information Assistant also provides guided walking tours of the campus to prospective students, enrolled students, and other small groups. This position fosters positive communication and collaboration with faculty, staff, students, local non-profit organizations, and members of the Anne Arundel county. The Paramedic Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to paramedic students, preparing them for state and national certification exams and field practice. The instructor develops, implements and grades within the paramedic curriculum, conducts classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs, and mentors during clinical rotations. This role requires collaboration with full-time instructors, Director of EMS, medical directors, clinical sites, and EMS agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive and current paramedic education. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own certifications and continuing education to stay updated with advancements in emergency medical services. |

The instructor will follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). The Dental Lab Assistant assists the instructional staff in implementing clinical skill competencies; actively participates in clinical evaluation and supervision of skills/simulation experience, and evaluation of student achievement including formative and summative evaluation.
