Counseling Services Student Assistant	Michigan
Your job as a Student Assistant will be one of acting as the face of the Counseling Services and making sure all students get the most that Counseling Services has to offer students. Communicate with students regarding scheduling, department information, and services that Counseling Services provides to LSSU students. Assist professional staff with general administrative duties. Manage and maintain sensitive student information in physical and online files. Oversee and manage displays and bulletin boards across campus. Interact with students through phone and email addressing their questions and concerns. Welcome new students and assist them with their mental health needs in a manner that is welcoming and professional. You will report directly to the Counseling Services Staff. Duties will include: Up to 19 hrs/week) Making sure all visitors are welcomed warmly Engaging students who come in, “checking” students into their appointments, and taking information for scheduling of new clients Keeping Counseling Services tidy Restocking the department brochures, pamphlets, and information in the office Promoting Counseling Services Keeping students informed of what we offer Preparation and attendance at campus events Various duties as assigned
Student Academic Success Center Tutor - Academic Year 2025/2026	Michigan
Peer Tutors work directly with students to provide course specific academic support outside the classroom. Tutoring sessions may have up to three students at one time. Peer Tutors should know their subject matter well and be able to effectively communicate that material to others. Other duties as assigned as related to the Academic Success Center and Tutoring Program.
