The Assistant Athletic Director for Development will play a critical role in helping the athletic department meet all fundraising goals with a specific focus on Men’s and Women’s Basketball. This position has oversight of annual giving and donor engagement on behalf of the athletics development team in addition to carrying a donor portfolio with specific fundraising goals, metrics, and objectives. This oversight includes and is not limited to annual giving, stewardship, general engagement, communications, and stewardship efforts. This position will play a critical role in helping the athletics development team hit and exceed annual and long-term fundraising objectives including cash and pledge production goals, donor acquisition and retention targets, implementation of new engagement and revenue generation opportunities, cultivation of former student-athlete and student-athlete parent constituencies, and more. |

Jewish Life at Elon University is currently seeking a creative, detailed, organized and welcoming Assistant Director, Communications and Development, who will play an important part in the exciting growth of Jewish Life at Elon and serves as a key member of the Jewish Life team. This is a 40-hour, 12-month, Elon University, exempt position.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent organizational skills and the ability to access, analyze, and present data and interact well with students, faculty, staff and Elon community members. Experience with digital storytelling, databases, and fundraising platforms is preferred. They will be an essential member of the Jewish Life team, the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life staff, and the Division of Student Life at Elon. |
