Broadcast Engineer Elon Main Campus
The Broadcast Engineer assists with broadcast engineering operations and efforts. This position acts as the engineer-in-charge to support technical operations for video production and broadcasts, conducts routine maintenance for facilities, and supervises a team of Student Broadcast Engineers (student staff). This position works in close partnership with campus departments, including the School of Communications, Athletics, Event Technology Services, and Cultural and Special Programs. They provide training to student production crews and faculty on campus. They also assist in the integration and troubleshooting of our broadcast graphics packages.
Library Services & Operations Specialist Queens Campus - Charlotte
The Library Services and Operations Specialist oversees the daily operations of the Charlotte Library’s primary service point, and manages circulation, interlibrary loan services, and supervision of up to 20 student employees. This staff position leads training and development for all access services student employees, supports faculty and student research needs across disciplines, and contributes to library-wide initiatives that enhance access, equity, safety, and student success. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Charlotte Library, this position advances library services through continuous process improvement and outreach and engagement initiatives.
Student Success Librarian Queens Campus - Charlotte
The Student Success Librarian is a one-year appointment dedicated to engaging students, faculty, and staff on the Charlotte campus as the library develops and expands shared services between the libraries in Charlotte and Burlington. The librarian plays a key role in supporting student success by delivering high-quality research assistance and developing information literacy instruction and building strong relationships with academic departments, student support services, and student organizations. This librarian will promote library services, programs and collections through campus partnerships, program development, workshops, and targeted support. The Student Success Librarian will remain current with developments and trends in teaching, research, and learning that impact students, such as AI tolls, and proactively incorporate instructional material related to the use of emerging technologies in library research.
Director of Academic Communications and School of Education Marketing Elon Main Campus
The Director of Academic Communications and School of Education Marketing works with multiple teams to develop and execute communications and marketing tactics to showcase the learning, accomplishments, teaching, scholarship, service, innovation, and leadership of the Elon University community. This position has direct responsibility for the creation of messaging and communications collateral that advances the admissions goals of the Roberts Academy at Elon University and the overall reputation of the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education. The director reports to the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Communications and Media Relations with a dotted line report to the Dean of the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education. This position maintains an office within the Roberts Academy at Elon University.
Assistant Director of Graduate Alumni Engagement Elon Main Campus
Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement, the Assistant Director of Graduate Alumni Engagement will provide strategic leadership and programmatic oversight for engagement initiatives serving Elon’s growing graduate alumni population. As part of Boldly Elon, this position is critical to expanding the scope of alumni engagement to include more than 3,700 graduate alumni across multiple schools and programs. The Assistant Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing segmented, personalized outreach, communications, and engagement opportunities for graduate alumni, while collaborating closely with campus partners to support institutional priorities related to accreditation, enrollment growth, alumni outcomes, philanthropy, and the graduate student experience. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for building a portfolio of a graduate alumni for personal outreach and relationship development in alignment with overall goals. The person in this position is expected to be a key leader within the Alumni Engagement team and play a vital role in helping University Advancement achieve its engagement and fundraising goals.
Shuttle Bus Operator Elon Main Campus
This position serves the students in shuttle rides to, from and around campus and the Burlington community. Adheres to all traffic laws and regulations as well as University safety standards and policies.
Moving and Set-up Worker Elon Main Campus
Work as a part of a team to provide set up for events. Move furniture in an out of dorm rooms as necessary. Provide any moving and set up needs as required by the university in any of its offices or classrooms.
Sanitation Driver Elon Main Campus
Collection of trash and recycling throughout assigned areas on campus and deposit contents in approved locations. Work closely with supervision of staff. Maintain clean and neat appearance of all outside containers as well as those collected from within resident halls. Work special events maintaining clean and sanitized trash containers.
Part Time Custodian Monday-Friday Elon Main Campus
The custodian position is responsible for helping maintain a clean and safe environment of all inside spaces which include Residential housing, Academic buildings, Athletic facilities, Student centers and dining locations for Elon University Campus. This includes, but not limited to, maintain and cleaning equipment, the cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms, vacuuming floors, and removing all trash from the premises, cleaning of biohazards and high touch areas. Custodians are also responsible for monitoring special events and athletic games across campus making sure areas are clean and sanitized during events.
3rd shift Floor Tech Sunday-Thursday Elon Main Campus
The floor technician position is responsible for helping to maintain a clean and safe environment for the Elon University Campus. This includes, but not limited to, custodial duties, maintaining and cleaning equipment, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, and the stripping, sealing, finishing of floors, carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning.
HVACR Mechanic II Elon Main Campus
This position works under the direction of the HVACR Supervisor and the Lead HVACR Mechanic I performs the routine preventive maintenance of all university-maintained heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration mechanical equipment. This position is identified as Essential Staff, responsible for maintaining the core functions and operations of the university, especially during emergencies, crises, or situations that require continuity of essential services.

This position is responsible for all painting and pressure washing procedures of Elon University Facilities.
Fleet Mechanic II Elon Main Campus
Responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and/or repair tasks in a repair shop or in the field as assigned by a Fleet Mechanic I or Automotive Supervisor. Work is of average difficulty and is performed on automotive, transit fleet vehicles, and/or special vehicles and equipment that are gasoline, diesel and/or propane powered, with varying degrees of supervision based upon aptitude and skills required.

Community Director for Oaks Neighborhood Elon Main Campus
Responsibilities include overseeing the management of a residential neighborhood that houses 400-800 students; supervising a Program Assistant (administrative assistant), graduate apprentice, and residential student staff; maintaining daily student contact through shared meals, mentoring, facilitating programs and initiatives, and developing student leadership opportunities; co-chairing the neighborhood association with a live-in faculty member; collaborating with staff and faculty members in living learning communities; developing community programs; serving as a student conduct hearing officer; serving as a student care and outreach responder, including in an on-call capacity, and serving in leadership capacities for departmental efforts.
Aquatics Coordinator Elon Main Campus
The Aquatics Coordinator provides instrumental leadership in supporting a comprehensive, integrated approach to wellness and well-being through aquatic programs and services. The Aquatics Coordinator oversees the management, safety, programming, and operations of the Slattery Center Aquatics Center and the Mill Point Residential Neighborhood pool, ensuring safe, inclusive, and engaging experiences for the campus community. This position oversees daily aquatics operations, recruits and supervises staff, ensures compliance with health and safety standards, and develops aquatic programs that serve students, faculty, staff, families, and community members. Among the neighborhood community-building spaces is an outdoor recreational pool, which is maintained by the Aquatics Coordinator and their student staff team.
