Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
In this position you will work with Biomedical Sciences faculty to support development of inclusive learning materials accessible to all learners.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and edit descriptive image alternative text for Biomedical Sciences course lecture and lab images, using generative AI and other resources.
- Review lecture auto-generated closed captioning to identify and correct errors in translation.
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Power Point
- Computer skills to include file sharing and file backup
- English language fluency to a level sufficient to comparing lecture audio with closed captioning transcription
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award from the Office of Student Finance
- Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
