• $18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

 This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Undergrad student position to assist the Brown-Borg lab with lab upkeep, animal care, lab preparations, data input.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in lab upkeep: glassware cleaning, autoclaving Labe tubes, fill pipet tip boxes Data input, basis statistics, graphing
• Assist in laboratory preparations & assays (PCR, immunoblotting)
• Assist with animal care - (Essential)

Required Competencies

• Knowledge of laboratory safety
• Reliable
• Organized
• Able to work independently

Minimum Requirements

• UND undergraduate student
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting
• Ability with mice
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
