• 15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• up to 19 hours per week

Purpose of Position

The Testing Services Assistant works part-time and is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Testing Services functions. The person in this position assists in the support and proctoring for all Prometric testing, Pearson Vue testing, as well as several other standardized testing companies. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Proctoring/monitoring candidates to ensure test security and confidentiality 
• Certification and continuing education for all testing companies. 
• Troubleshooting issues 
• Collect data, process rosters, phone calls 
• Greeting candidates, answering questions, and giving directions 

Required Competencies

• Ability to troubleshoot issues calmly
• Become certified with seven different companies and participate in continuing education
• Adhere to detailed instructions necessary for supporting standardized exams
• Handle a high volume of testers
• Use strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Use various computer systems to administer online exams, record results, and submit reports
• Prioritize multiple tasks by using strong organizational and attention to detail skills

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience in customer service
• One year of experience working with computers/software, especially Microsoft Office Suite
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
