Salary/Position Classification

• $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• Hours per week: As a stagehand, you WILL NOT work every day or even weekly, only when we have shows/events scheduled.
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

Stagehand work at the CFA consists of the unloading and set-up of equipment for live shows/events, tear-down after shows, and the reloading of trucks. Setting the stage for smaller events at the Fritz.


This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry and push tools, equipment, and supplies weighing 50 pounds
• Assist with setting up and taking down the stage

• Patience – there could be long periods spent waiting for other crews to finish their jobs
