Salary/Position Classification

• $16.00-18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 40 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position in Dr. Asthana's computational research lab. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing quantum algorithms for applications in chemistry
• Testing quantum algorithms for applications in chemistry

Required Competencies

• Proficient in python programming
• Strong background in linear algebra
• Strong background in physics and physical chemistry concepts

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Computer science or related fields
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
