Salary/Position Classification

• $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20-30 must be available for at minimum 2-to-3 hour blocks of time, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Light manual labor in both indoor and outdoor gardening tasks
• Potting plants
• Shoveling dirt into planters
• Watering plants
• Weeding
• Trimming plants
• Assisting with interactive garden programming and activities

Required Competencies

• Lift up to 30lbs
• Enjoy being outside and planting
• Enjoy working with others
• Effective communication skills

Minimum Requirements

• • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
