Purpose of Position
The Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure-track full-time Lecturer to teach eight to nine undergraduate courses in Business, Management and Leadership per year. The Lecturer will also contribute to the mission of the department and University through service activities and will be expected to maintain faculty qualifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaching: This position requires excellence in teaching and service in addition to professional engagement. The anticipated teaching load is four to five sections/courses per semester during the academic year (fall and spring semesters). Courses will include Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, and Introduction to Leadership. Course delivery modes will include on-campus teaching and may also include hybrid (live+online) and/or fully online.
- Service: Service is expected and may include service to the Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management, the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration, UND, and appropriate professions. Ongoing professional service and engagement are expected as well to maintain faculty qualifications as outlined in the Nistler College Faculty handbook. This position may also be expected to advise student groups.

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in management or leadership from an AACSB accredited program.
- Experience teaching, instructing, and, or training students or professionals in management and, or Leadership -- in an academic and, or professional context.
- Professional (work) experience that will result in being faculty qualified.
- Successful completion of criminal history records check

- Professional experience in management or leadership:
o Level (and years) of experience: supervisory, mid or senior level management/leadership
o Professional qualification(s) and/or certification(s) in management or leadership
