Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Post Dakota Student content to social media accounts
- Manage DS website with SNO Sites content management system
- Occasionally take photos for DS stories - (Essential)
Required Competencies
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Have solid knowledge of AP style, grammar, and spelling
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and ability to work under pressure
Minimum Requirements
- Understanding the priority of news
- Ability to identify potential article ideas
- Good organizational/time management skills
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior website/CMS management experience
Google applications and Adobe Creative Suite experience
Knowledge of communication law (i.e. Libel, plagiarism)
