Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, dispatching, data processing of all aircraft flights in our data management system (AIMS)
  • Answer phones and effectively answer questions for students and instructors in a timely manner
  • Will be responsible for providing aviation students with a high level of customer service
  • Assist supervisor with some report generating and preparation
  • Assist with the preparation of flight training materials
  • Assist full-time staff as requested to ensure prompt services to the students
  • Schedule, dispatch and process flights
  • Ensure that all flight training documents are filed
  • File flight training documents
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Hours & Schedule:
    • Now hiring students that will be here and available for the summer of 2025, with good hours of availability. If you are gone from Grand Forks for the summer please do not apply at this time and watch for opening in the fall.
    • Starting compensation: $13.00 / hour; part-time; non-exempt; non-benefitted
    • Hours per week: 10 - 20
    • Variable shifts with evening and weekend work
    • 3-4 hours per shift
    • Minimum of 3 hours per shift

Required Competencies

  • • Strong computer skills
    • Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

  • • 2 years of customer service experience.
    • Must have strong good experience with Microsoft Office products.
    • Available for the summer of 2025 with good hours of availability
    • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Work Study funding preferred, but not required.
    • Some knowledge of aviation
