Salary/Position Classification

• $25.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Help with the mechanical design of an optical device and also help with studies related to space agriculture and designing a system for better crop yield in space and microgravity

Duties & Responsibilities

• Duties included in the position:
  • Mechanical Design
  • 3D Printing
  • Circuit board design 

Required Competencies

• Excellent Organizational skills
• Sound leadership skills

Minimum Requirements

• Background in Mechanical Engineering
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
