Salary/Position Classification

  • $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in the development of required documentation 
  • Support research and analysis of technical information 
  • Review documentation for new UAS operators 
  • Attend program meetings as needed 
  • Review and provide input on documentation such as statements of work and lease agreements 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and files 
  • Ensure confidentiality of business-sensitive information 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Provide support to UAS operators and operational activities 
  • Perform other duties as assigned - (Essential)

Required Competencies

  • Excellent communication, technical, and business writing skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint


Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as required
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management software
  • Experience with accounting software programs
  • Experience in the aviation industry
  • Two years of completed undergraduate coursework in a business or technology-related field
  • Experience with financial documentation and evaluations
  • Experience running financial models (i.e. projected spending, burn rates, etc.)
