Salary/Position Classification

• 17.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20-40 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for conducting chemical and material research in Dr. Du’s lab.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Synthesis and characterization of silicon-containing monomers 
• Synthesis and characterization of polymeric materials and their applications in biomedical field 
• Laboratory upkeep and maintenance 

Required Competencies

• Interest and experience with synthetic chemistry

Minimum Requirements

• BS degree in Chemistry
• Experience with undergraduate research in synthetic chemistry and NMR technique
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
