Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Overall, the Career Readiness Intern plays a pivotal role in providing professional attire and support to students seeking to enhance their professional image and career prospects. This position requires organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal communication abilities, and a passion for helping others succeed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Headshot Studio Duties:
- Assist with scheduling, setting up, and managing headshot sessions for students.
- Operate camera equipment and assist with basic photo editing (training provided).
- Maintain studio space and equipment, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Organize and deliver digital headshots to students in a timely manner.
- Career Closet Duties:
- Manage the organization, upkeep, and inventory of the Career Closet.
- Help students select appropriate professional attire for interviews, networking events, and career fairs.
- Support donation intake, including sorting and storing new items.
- Track usage data and assist with promotional efforts to increase student engagement.

Minimum Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with diverse student populations.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Interest or experience in photography, fashion, retail, or student services is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems (e.g., scheduling software, basic photo editing).
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
