Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell tickets for theatre productions in person, over the phone, or online.
  • Greet patrons and provide friendly, helpful customer service. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Distribute will-call tickets and assist with ticket pick-up. Maintain organized records of ticket sales and attendance.
  • Answer questions about showtimes, seating, prices, and policies. Assist with seating issues and help resolve customer concerns.
  • Prepare the box office area before performances and close it down afterward. Coordinate with house managers and ushers to ensure smooth audience flow.
  • Follow all university and theatre department policies regarding sales, safety, and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements

  • Available to work the following weekends:
    • October 1-5, 2025
    • November 7-16 2025
    • December 6th & 7th 2025
    • February 25-March 1, 2026
    • April 22-26, 2026
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
