Salary/Position Classification
- $13.00-$14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Instructing Introduction to Chemistry or General Chemistry labs. Successful applicants will be required to work closely with students.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proctoring of evening exams for the companion lecture course
- Giving pre- and post-lab discussions
- Instructing and troubleshooting lab experiments
- Grade student work
- Use Blackboard and provide extra help in an office hour each week
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled at least half time
- Completed General Chemistry II Course with Lab or equivalent with a grade of B or better
- Have an overall GPA over 3.0 or better
- Excellent communication skills
- A solid understanding of General Chemistry
- Ability to work in a directed yet unsupervised manner
- A conscientious work ethic
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
