Purpose of Position

Support experiential learning component of PT 638: Advanced Topics in Pediatrics. In this role, the pediatric PT will host DPT students in a clinical setting for structured clinical observation experiences, explaining clinical reasoning, assessment findings, and intervention strategies and will engage students in brief discussion, reflection, and Q&A as appropriate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Required Competencies

• Strong clinical skills in pediatric physical therapy and general patient handling skills. Must have good communication skills with the ability to instruct and teach students at their level of understanding.

Minimum Requirements

• *DPT degree
  *Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of North Dakota
  *Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy practice
  *Available on Wednesday mornings (1/28, 2/9, 2/25, 3/16, 3/30, 4/15, and 4/29)
• *Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
