• $944.45 monthly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

As a GSA working in the Esports program, you will help monitor and improve the academic success of the Varsity Esports Athletes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meet with Varsity Esports Athletes to check in on their classes, assignments and grades, while monitoring to ensure they are completing schoolwork during your time with them 
• Help develop good study habits, a schedule to work around their competition, classes and work 
• Research and direct students to additional academic services UND offers including tutors, academic advisors and testing centers 
• Provide updates to the Esports Head Coach regarding attendance and activity of Varsity Esports athletes during study hours

• Ability to connect students with campus academic resources
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Esports Head Coach
• Ability to manage multiple students and priorities in a structured study-hall environment

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a current UND Graduate student studying business, psychology, communication, counseling, education, school counseling, or leadership.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
