Purpose of Position
The Pride Center Student Marketing Assistant helps coordinate marketing and promotional needs for Pride Center events, activities and engagements. This includes content creation, graphic design, and outreach.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design flyers, graphics, and digital materials for Pride Center events and activities.
- Create and manage content for departmental social media accounts.
- Support outreach efforts including tabling events, orientation, and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with drafting and editing content for the Pride Center newsletter and blog.
- Create and maintain a marketing and promotion calendar for each semester
Minimum Requirements
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA2S+ identities and experiences.
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve creatively and effectively
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe, Canva, Capcut, Excel, Microsoft TEAMS
- Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, or Art Major
