Salary/Position Classification
- 14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-20 hours per week during the academic year, & full-time during the summer break.

Purpose of Position
EERC is looking for a student to perform or assist with more difficult building repairs such as door closures, hinges, weather stripping, painting, and plumbing. Performs mowing and yard work, as well as operating tractors, mowers, and performing equipment maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform relocation and setup of office furniture and equipment.
- Perform repairs or assist in performance of more difficult repairs to building, such as door closures, hinges, weather stripping, painting and plumbing.
- Performs mowing and yard work, operating tractors, mowers and performs maintenance on this equipment.
- Assist in overhauling and installing motors, pumps, and bearing; perform pressure differential checks in HVAC systems, install electrical conduit to assist electrician and HVAC trades works.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to stand 3-4 hours at a time.
- Can move 45-50 pounds.
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to understand and complete required training for the job classification.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Able to work independently and part of a team.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
- Interior/exterior painting experience.
