Salary/Position Classification

  • $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise and in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of strength, conditioning, speed, agility, and mobility
  • Monitor and evaluate progress of athletes 
  • Interact with a wide array of socio-economic backgrounds
  • Work within the policies and procedures of the university environment
  • Establish and manage goals 
  • Operate as a team player within a group
  • Willing and able to follow the directions of supervisors and coaches
  • Hours will vary based upon programs in-season/offseason with no more than 20 hours per week

Minimum Requirements

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
  • CPR/First Aid/AE
  • Previous experience in collegiate athletics
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
