Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
This position is located at the EERC, an international leader in energy and environmental research, conducting projects for clients throughout the United States and the world. The EERC offers opportunities to people with an exceptional work attitude, dedication to high professional standards, and commitment to personal development. We are looking for confident, scientifically trained, and market-oriented individuals to contribute to the success of the organization by performing one or more of the following functions:
- Assisting in the maintenance and inspection of emergency, facilities, safety, and other equipment
- Assisting with chemical inventory
- Assisting with other EHS duties as assigned
Required Competencies
- Must be able to work well with others and independently.
- Must be able to operate Microsoft office software.
- Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have experience with Microsoft office.
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs and work on metal deck floors.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and coursework in sciences or engineering preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
