Housekeeping Worker - UREC Harrisonburg
JMU Facilities Management is accepting applications for two full-time Housekeeping Workers in the University Recreation Center (UREC). This position will report to the Director of Basketball Performance and will be responsible for assisting in the administration of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for Men’s and Women’s basketball and Men and Women’s Golf. The Assistant Sports Performance Coach will work as a member of the Strength and Conditioning Department. The selected candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of communication and energy, outstanding interpersonal skills, and professionalism. This individual will manage and maintain the Strength and Performance room located within the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The ability to work and function as a member of the Integrated Health and Sports Performance team is also essential. This position is a part-time, 12-month position, which does not include benefits.

Technical and Operations Fellowship - Wilson Hall Auditorium Harrisonburg
The Technical and Operations Fellowship at Wilson Hall Auditorium on the campus of James Madison University provides advanced, hands-on training in theatre production and stage management, as well as opportunities to operate state of the art audio, lighting and video systems. The fellowship begins June 1st, 2025 and runs through December 21st, 2025. The fellowship requires a season-long commitment. The fellow will receive a stipend total of $17,225 for the 29 week contract, which will be paid in increments bi-weekly. Off-Campus Life Community Assistant - IE Harrisonburg
Off-Campus Life (OCL) student Community Assistants provide front-line customer service both in the OCL office and in The Pantry, answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting walk-in guests. Community Assistants help students navigate the transition process of moving into the Harrisonburg community by informing them of available resources and educating them on best practices. Community Assistants also help create a welcoming environment in The Pantry, a free food resource for students experiencing food insecurity, while maintaining inventory and upkeep of the space. Additionally, our Community Assistants help with several programs throughout the year to help build community for our off-campus and commuter student population and to help students gain the skills and knowledge needed to make informed decisions in their off-campus communities.

The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the Marketing and Communications Graduate Assistantship. This role supports the unit’s marketing efforts by managing and creating content for social media, maintaining the ODS website, and advertising events. Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) assists students and organizations in making healthy and safe decisions, creating positive experiences, and providing a space for belonging among FSL students. FSL is a part of the Office of Student Life, whose mission is to foster belonging through the personal growth and development of an engaged citizenry by providing welcoming experiences and spaces. The role of the Fraternity and Sorority Life Graduate Assistant will include supporting one of the two FSL organization governing councils, assisting in supervision of student office staff, and helping with community wide programming throughout the year. A graduate assistant in the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is expected to work 20 hours a week. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary due to the nature of our programming. All graduate assistants in Student Life are expected to attend departmental staff meetings and sponsored professional development opportunities as schedule permits.
