Job Summary/Basic Functions
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Project Inspector. This position is responsible for construction inspection of institutional facilities and contract administration of capital and non-capital projects as assigned by the Capital Outlay Directors.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial construction, trades, and local building codes and ordinances.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic bookkeeping and math skills.

Required Experience:
- Knowledge of commercial construction, trades and local building codes and ordinances.

Additional Considerations:
KSAs
- AutoCAD experience and previous experience with the Virginia Uniform State Building Code (VUSBC), Virginia Capital and Professional Services Manual (CPSM), and Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Building and Facilities (ADAAG).
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- DEQ Certification - Inspector for Stormwater Management and Inspector for Erosion and Sediment Control or ability obtain same certification within 1-year of employment.
