Job Summary/Basic Functions

The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a tennis instructor for the tennis clinics operated by UMW Athletics. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Director of the tennis center with tennis and pickleball clinic setup, instruction and communication with participants and parents.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with participants and parents

 

Required Experience:

  • Experience as a coach, student assistant, student-athlete.

 

Additional Considerations:

  • Bachelors Degree or currently enrolled in college/university.
  • Experience as tennis instructor, coach, or student-athlete.
