Advertising Summary: VCU Athletics is seeking a graduate assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Room and provide support for all 17 varsity athletics teams during the 2026-27 academic year.

Department Summary: VCU Athletics’ mission is to win conference and national championships, provide a first-class student-athlete experience, serve as a source of pride for the University and community and cultivate graduates who excel as leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Inventory control of athletic apparel and equipment;

• Maintenance and repair of equipment;

• Helping prepare for road games and competitions;

• Helping with the organization and management of athletic department vans;

• Assisting with the management of student managers; and

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Admittance into a graduate program within VCU;

• Knowledge of and prior work experience in intercollegiate athletics;

• Strong customer service skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented; and

• Exceptional verbal and written communication.

Salary Range: Scholarship varies
