The VCU Department of Family Medicine and Population Health exists to:

• IMPROVE the health and well-being of the people of Virginia and beyond
• ADVANCE the science of epidemiology, family medicine, and public health by means of innovative, interdisciplinary research

Chief Purpose of this position

The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is currently recruiting for a BC/BE family physician.  We are seeking a Part-Time physician that will be involved in medical student teaching and could participate in departmental research programs.  

Position Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of primary care services to new and established patients in the community.
• Medical student teaching in a clinical setting
• Research and scholarly work according to training and interest
• Serve on hospital or departmental committees when appropriate.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine 
• Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
