About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the High Voltage Lineman Program within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies. Instruction will include CDL driver training for students.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Experience:

  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Five years of evidenced industry experience.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse constituencies.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Class A CDL driver’s license.
  • Journeyman license in a directly related field.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
