Hiring Range

Per-course compensation is commensurate with education and experience and based on enrollment.

About this Position

The Langston University School of Education and Behavioral Sciences is building a pool of qualified adjunct instructors and invites applications to join our team. We are seeking adjunct faculty in the following departments 

  • Psychology
  • Education
  • Health, Physical Education and Recreation
  • Rehabilitation Services
  • Library Science.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in the relevant discipline 
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
  • Professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

    • Psychology

    • Education

    • Health, Physical Education, and Recreation

    • Rehabilitation Services

    • Library Science

Required Experience

  • Experience mentoring, advising, or supporting students in their academic and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging instruction in both traditional classroom and online learning environments.

  • Evidence of scholarly engagement, professional practice, or community service aligned with the mission of Langston University.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D./Ed.D.
