About this Position

THIS POSITION IS IN STILLWATER OK 

The MA/LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The MA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The MA/LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Sports Medicine Supervisor. 

  • Medical Assistant $17.00-$19.13
  • Licensed Practical Nurse $21.00-$23.63

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical 
    • Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant
    • (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of Oklahoma
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Valid Driver's License

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. 
  • Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
  • Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
