Position Introduction:

Join the Center for Public Management (OU CPM) at the University of Oklahoma and be part of a team dedicated to making a daily impact in the lives of Oklahomans. The Technology Solutions Manager is responsible for the administration and management of day-to-day operations of the Technology Solutions team, leads and manages Technology Solutions staff, provides administrative oversight and support on all Technology Solutions projects and initiatives. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 36 months in management, leadership, or project experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months of experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles.

Department Preferences:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience leading technology-based programs, products, or initiatives, including project planning, execution, risk management, and evaluation.
  • 2+ years of experience supervising or leading staff in a technical or technology-adjacent environment, including developers, analysts, instructional technologists, or solution specialists.
  • Experience contributing to or overseeing application and web-based solutions, including AI tools and content management systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with designers and developers to ensure usability, performance, accessibility, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Totara, Moodle, or comparable platforms), including implementation, configuration, enhancement, integration, or governance of learning technologies and digital content delivery systems.
  • Experience applying Universal Design principles and accessibility standards within technology solutions, including training, consultation, or quality review.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 standards and their practical application in digital products.
