Position Introduction:

The Senior Workflow Coordinator for the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) Communications Team will provide project and process coordination to support the development of high-quality resources that promote effective suicide prevention. This position will support all development processes involved in taking SPRC resources from concept to publication.

Duties include:

  • Facilitates workflow for development of professional learning experiences and materials (e.g., webinars, fact sheets, presentations, online courses, communities of practice) throughout the entire materials review and editing process within the communications team and ensures compliance with SPRC processes and procedures.
  • Delivers and/or coordinates feedback to SPRC Initiative teams on planned training and product development activities in conjunction with the SPRC Director of Communications.
  • Develops and monitors timelines for Communications Team activities including materials formatting, course design, review of program content, and development of instructional and support materials.
  • Conducts literature reviews and needs analysis to support fact checking for training and products.
  • Responsible for monitoring quality assurance/quality improvement processes for trainings and products.
  • Supervises consultants and delegates workflow tasks across the Communications Team to track progress and assists in overcoming barriers to ensure timely delivery of training and products.
  • Maintains project records and version control of materials under development.
  • Plans and oversees special, time-limited cross-initiatives projects assigned by the SPRC Executive Director or the SPRC Director of Communications.
  • Interfaces with Communications Team members, other SPRC Initiatives and staff, consultants, funding sources, and outside partner organizations to facilitate regular communication regarding materials development and review status and results and ensure information flows smoothly.
  • Coordinates and schedules all relevant meetings for the Communications Team, sends Outlook invites or meeting links for online or in-person meetings, and provides summary notes and follow-up reminders as needed.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
  • Evaluate project progress and produce comprehensive reports
  • Supervise consultants and communicate directions and expectations effectively
  • Read and interpret policy and procedure guidelines
  • Will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Build and maintain positive relationships at all organizational levels
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving ability; able to anticipate roadblocks and move quickly to solve them

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 18 months of experience working in an educational setting.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 66 months of related experience.

Department Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, public health, communications, marketing, adult education, social sciences, or related field and at least 48 months coordinating a training, community education, behavioral health, workforce development, community coalition, or public health improvement project.
