Position Introduction:

The Division of Access and Opportunity is seeking a diligent Graduate Research Assistant to provide support to the Director of the OU Testing Center. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to gain valuable research experience and contribute to the division's mission of promoting access and equity in higher education.

Job Description:

GA Position Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Report directly to the Director of the Testing Center
    • Gather and scan documents, ensuring accurate and timely processing of administrative paperwork.
  • Front Desk Assistance:
    • Greet visitors and provide assistance to individuals visiting the Boomer Outreach Building
    • Answer phones, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
    • Help support student with exam testing.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist with ongoing projects in the OU Testing Center
    • Collaborate with staff members to contribute to the successful completion of project objectives.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain records of office inventory and supplies.
    • Monitor stock levels, report items that are low in stock, and assist with procurement as needed.
  • Research Assistance:
    • Provide research support to division staff members on various initiatives and projects.
    • Conduct literature reviews, gather data, and assist with data analysis as directed.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support the efficient operation of the division.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be an incoming or current OU Graduate Student enrolled in the Fall 2026 semester(s).
  • Enrollment will be verified before employment is offered.
