Position Introduction:
The Oklahoma Center for Education Policy (OCEP), housed at the University of Oklahoma, seeks a master's-or doctorate-level quantitative education researcher to support and help lead the Center's research agenda on K-12 education policy in Oklahoma. This position will work closely with the Executive Director on applied research projects designed to inform policymakers, education leaders, practitioners, and the public. A central focus of the position will be studying the implementation and impact of state and district policies in Oklahoma, including state efforts to strengthen early reading instruction and improve student outcomes.
The researcher will contribute to the design and execution of quantitative studies, support data collection and analysis, help coordinate research activities across the Center, and engage with external stakeholders involved in education policy and practice. This position is well suited for an early-career or mid-career researcher, including recent Ph.D. graduates, advanced doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, or master's-level researchers with strong quantitative skills and an interest in producing timely, policy-relevant research.
