This position will be working in the Library Makerspace, on the main floor of Bizzell Memorial Library. Workers in this position will interact with students, staff, and faculty as the libraries continue supporting research and instruction with hands-on technology and creative tools. In this role, workers will greet patrons, demonstrate equipment capabilities, troubleshoot basic issues, and guide users through the workflows for various technologies including introductory 3D scanning, 3D printing, Virtual Reality, Cricut cutting machines, and related design processes. Student employees may also assist with digitization projects, filling interlibrary loan requests, stacks, maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Student employees may be asked to work an occasional evening or Saturday event.
