About the Role

This twelve month fixed term contract is based from out South East Regional Office in Bangholme. Reporting to Area Lead, this is a pivotal role is within the Minor Capital team. As the Project Officer you will be responsible for safely delivering high quality natural resource management and civil projects on time and within budget under the guidance of a Project Manager.

About you:

  • Awareness of environmental and heritage values found in and around waterways.
  • Basic understanding of some consultation, negotiation and relationship building concepts.
  • Cert III/IV level qualifications in a natural resource management, engineering, project management or related discipline.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Risk identification, assessment and control capabilities.
  • Basic financial estimate, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
